Heirloom Detail Clarified
Everything you need to know about the final Marston batch
Is the Damascus pattern real or etched?
This is traditional Damascus. Two distinct types of steel are hammer welded and folded 256 times. This creates a wavy pattern that is physical and deep. It will never wear off.
Where is the serial number located?
Each knife is serialized from 001/200 to 200/200. This number is deeply engraved into the metal. Once your specific number arrives, nobody else on earth will own that specific piece of history.
How do I care for the metal?
Clean the blade and handle with a soft cloth after use. Apply a light drop of mineral oil once a month to keep the Damascus pattern vivid and the action perfectly smooth.
Is it heavy enough for real work?
Yes. This folder has a weighted bronze liner lock and a textured brass thumb stud. It provides solid heft that fits perfectly in a grown man hand for any serious task.
Why is this the last batch?
The smith is 74 years old and worked in Pennsylvania for 47 years. This is his final closing batch before his shop closes for good. There will truly never be another run.
What is the total blade length?
The blade is approximately 3.5 inches. Perfect for legal daily carry in most areas and versatile enough for everything from office duty to camping and skinning game in the field.
How durable is the wood handle?
We use sustainably sourced African Blackwood, one of the densest woods on earth. It is naturally resistant to water and oils, ensuring the handle looks better 20 years from now.
What if I want a different number?
If you do not feel the quality the moment you hold it, return it within 30 days. We will refund you and give your serialized number to the next man on the list.
