SEESE PRO – Turbo Jet Blower

Stop drying your paint with a towel. Every pass of a cloth drags grit across the clear coat, and that is where swirl marks come from. This lifts the water off instead, out of the mirror housings, the badge, the wheel nuts and the door shuts, in one pass and without touching the car.

  • Dry a car without touching itNo towel, no chamois, no drag. The water comes out of the panel gaps, the mirror housings and the badge, and nothing rubs grit across your clear coat.
  • The dust behind the allergiesBlow out the fan blades, the vents, the radiator fins, the keyboard, the extractor. It moves the dust that a cloth just smears around.
  • More air than a garden leaf blowerA pure copper motor and a turbo fan, in something you hold in one hand. Leaves off the drive, clippings back into the lawn, snow off the steps.
  • Nothing to plug inA rechargeable battery, so it works at the far end of the garden, on the drive, or in a car park. Three thrust levels.
  • It stores where a leaf blower cannotIt comes in its own case and lives in a drawer or a boot, not against the back wall of the garage behind the ladder.

A rinse never lifts every particle off a panel. A towel presses what is left against the clear coat and drags it in a circle. That is where swirl marks come from, and air never touches the paint.

Why a towel is the problem

The part every drying page skips.

Swirl marks come from the drying, not the washing

A rinse never takes every particle off a panel. What is left is grit, and a towel is what presses it against the clear coat and drags it in a circle. Do that every fortnight for two years and you get the fine web of scratches you can only see in direct sun.

Air lifts the water off without anything touching the paint. That is the whole argument, and it is why detailers stopped using cloths on finished work years ago.

Where the water actually hides

The panels are the easy part. What ruins a finish is the water that runs back out ten minutes later: out of the mirror housings, the badge, the grille, the wheel nuts, the door shuts and the fuel flap. A towel cannot go in there. Air can, and it takes it out before it runs.

And the same thing indoors, with dust

A cloth on a fan blade or a radiator fin does not remove dust, it moves it to the next surface and to the air you breathe. Moving air takes it out of the fins and out of the room, which is why this ends up being used far more often indoors than anyone expects when they buy it.

What changes, week by week

AFTER A WASH

The one you bought it for

  • Water out of the mirror housings, badges and door shuts
  • No towel dragging grit across the clear coat
  • No streaks on glass because nothing touched it
  • One pass down the panel and it is dry
INDOORS

The one nobody warned you about

  • Dust out of fan blades, vents and radiator fins
  • Behind the extractor, under the fridge, along the skirting
  • The keyboard, the console, the back of the television
  • It moves dust rather than smearing it somewhere else
OUTSIDE

The one that surprises people

  • Leaves off the drive and out of the gutters
  • Clippings blown back into the lawn instead of bagged
  • Snow off the steps and the windscreen
  • More air than the garden blower it replaces

The questions nobody answers on a product page

One tool for the car, the house and the garden, and it fits in a drawer.

A towel is what scratches your paint
Not the wash. The drying. Every pass of a cloth drags whatever grit the rinse left behind across the clear coat, and that is what swirl marks are. Air does not touch the panel at all.
The dust you cannot reach with a cloth
Fan blades, vents, radiator fins, the back of a television. A cloth smears that dust somewhere else. Air takes it out.
It out-blows a garden leaf blower
A pure copper motor turning a turbo fan, in something you hold in one hand. Three thrust levels, so you use the one the job needs.
No cable, no fuel, no cord
A rechargeable battery. It works at the far end of the garden, on a drive with no outdoor socket, or in a car park.
It fits in a drawer
Its own carry case, and it goes in a boot or a cupboard. A garden blower lives against the back wall behind the ladder, which is why it never comes out.
One tool, four seasons
Water in summer, leaves in autumn, snow off the steps in winter, dust indoors all year.

SEESE PRO is for you if…

  • You wash the car yourself and hate the drying part
  • Your paint has swirl marks and you know where they came from
  • Water runs back out of the mirrors ten minutes after you finish
  • The dust on the fan blades comes back a week after you wipe it
  • Your leaf blower is behind the ladder and never comes out
  • There is no outdoor socket where you actually need one

I have not touched a drying towel since
Fifteen years of washing my own truck and fifteen years of little scratches I could not explain. It was the towel the whole time.

I bought it for the car. I use it on the house
The fan blades, the radiator fins, behind the fridge. My husband thinks I have lost it. My allergies say otherwise.

It moves more air than my garden blower
That sounded like marketing until I put them side by side on the drive. This one is in a drawer. The other one lives behind the ladder and comes out twice a year.

The water that runs back out, gone
You finish drying, you walk away, and ten minutes later there are runs down the doors from the mirrors. Not any more.

Air, a pile of towels, or the drive-through

Towels are cheap and they are what put the swirl marks there. A drive-through wash uses brushes, which is worse.

Frequently asked questions

Will it really dry a whole car?

Yes, and faster than a towel because you are not folding and refolding anything. Work top down, panel by panel, and finish with the mirror housings, badges, grille and door shuts, which is where the water that ruins a finish is hiding.

Why is a towel worse?

A rinse never takes every particle off the paint. A towel presses what is left against the clear coat and drags it. That is where swirl marks come from. Air never touches the panel.

What are the three thrust levels for?

The lowest for dust indoors and around electronics, the middle for drying a car, the highest for leaves, clippings and snow.

Can I use it on my computer and my fans?

That is what most people end up using it for. Fan blades, vents, radiator fins, keyboards, the back of a television. Use the lowest setting on electronics and hold the fan blades still.

Is it really stronger than a garden leaf blower?

For anything you would do by hand, yes, and it is the reason people stop taking the big one out. It is not a replacement for clearing half an acre of leaves.

How long does the battery last?

Long enough for a car, and it recharges between jobs. It is cordless, so there is no socket to find and no cable to drag across wet paint.

Does it come with a case?

Yes, and that is why it gets used. It goes in a drawer, a cupboard or a boot, instead of against the back wall of the garage.

What is in the box?

The blower, the rechargeable battery, the charger, the nozzles, the carry case and the manual.
